About This Role

A mechanical contracting firm in Kerry is recruiting Pipe Welder/Fitters for ongoing pharmaceutical and food processing plant projects. The role involves fabrication and installation of process piping systems in stainless steel and carbon steel. Candidates must be comfortable with both workshop fabrication and site installation work.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and install process piping systems (stainless and carbon steel)
  • TIG welding of pipe joints to coded standards
  • Read and work from isometric and GA drawings
  • Carry out pressure testing and documentation
  • Work on client sites in compliance with safety management systems

Essential Requirements

  • Coded pipe welder certification (EN ISO 9606-1 or ASME IX)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in pipe welding/fitting
  • TIG welding on stainless steel pipe
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling
  • Full driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to project sites
