Vehicle Paint Technician

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, Spray Painter, or Automotive Refinisher.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle paint preparation and application techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
• Mix and match paint colours accurately using manufacturer specifications and colour-matching technology.
• Apply paint coatings using spray equipment and ensure a high-quality finish.
• Carry out blending, polishing, and finishing work to achieve seamless repairs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain paint shop equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organised.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work collaboratively with panel beaters, estimators, and other workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
