Motor Mechanic with Auto Electric Experience

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor Mechanic or equivalent trade certification.
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Strong auto electrical diagnostic and repair experience.
• Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• Conduct auto electrical diagnostics and repairs, including wiring faults, charging systems, starter motors, alternators, lighting systems, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs).
• Install and troubleshoot vehicle electrical accessories and systems.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service work completed.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and workshop staff.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
