The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate, fabrication-ready 3D models and detailed drawings for a variety of structural steel and architectural steel projects. Working closely with engineers, project managers, fabricators and other members of the design team, you will play an important role in taking projects from initial design through to fabrication and installation.
Create and develop detailed 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
Produce accurate fabrication and erection drawings, including GA drawings, assembly drawings and single-part drawings.
Interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Develop connections, steelwork components and detailing solutions in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure models and drawings are accurate, complete and suitable for fabrication and erection.
Generate material lists, bills of materials and other relevant fabrication information.
Liaise with engineers, architects, project managers and production teams to resolve technical and detailing issues.
Coordinate steelwork models with other disciplines and identify potential clashes or design issues.
Make revisions to models and drawings in accordance with design changes and project requirements.
Ensure all detailing complies with relevant standards, specifications and project requirements.
Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure designs are practical, efficient and suitable for manufacture.
Assist with project planning and manage assigned detailing work to meet agreed deadlines.
Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail throughout all stages of a project.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in detailing and production processes.

Our Client, is seeking two experienced TIG Welders / Pipe Fabricators to join its skilled workshop and site team. The successful candidates will work independently and as part of a small, experienced team on the fabrication of stainless steel vessels, tanks, platforms, and process pipework to a consistently high standard. This is a hands-on role requiring proven TIG welding ability, strong knowledge of stainless steel fabrication techniques, and the capacity to work from and interpret fabrication drawings without direct supervision.
We are looking for an Electrochemist to strengthen its coating inspection and materials/bolt failure analysis capability. Working alongside the inspection and testing team, you'll apply electrochemical test methods to assess corrosion behaviour, coating performance, and material degradation for clients in manufacturing, fabrication, and construction, turning lab and field data into clear, actionable findings for both technical teams and board-level stakeholders.
