One of Ireland’s leading Sheet Metal Fabrication Companies, are looking for a Silo Assembly Operative to join their team. The company is based across two sites and currently employ over170 people. They also operate a Mechanical Engineering Projects facility and manufacture V-Mac silos – their own brand range of agricultural, biomass and waste water treatment bulk storage solutions.
Requirments:
Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or mechanical assembly environment is
desirable
Comfortable using hand and power tools (essential)
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential
Overhead crane experience is beneficial (training will be provided)
Good attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team (work in teams of two)
Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly of silo units and sub-components
Use of hand and power tools, including:
o Electric drills
o Nut runners (torque tools)
o Jigsaws
o Angle grinders
Bolting and riveting components together to specification
Operating an overhead gantry crane to lift and position parts
Reading and following assembly drawings and instructions
General material handling and production support tasks
Maintaining quality standards and safe working practices

Our client is looking for an experienced Steel Welder. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating structural steel components, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Applicants should have proven welding experience, the ability to work from technical drawings, and a strong focus on workmanship and safety. Safe Pass certification and structural steel experience are advantageous.
