About This Role

One of our clients is currently seeking an experienced panel beater. They are one of the best-known private coach operators in the Midlands of Ireland. It's a family-run business based in Co. Longford

Requirements

  • Repair bodywork on a fleet of approximately 50 coaches, buses, and minibuses.
  • Assess and repair accident damage, dents, and panel defects.
  • Use fibreglass and/or aluminium repair techniques to restore damaged body panels.
  • Fill, sand, prepare, and repaint repaired areas to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Colour match paintwork to existing vehicle livery and finishes.
  • Carry out partial panel repairs and spot painting as required.
  • Perform complete vehicle repaints on occasion.
  • Compound, machine polish, and restore faded or weathered panels.
  • Repair and weld vehicle framework and structural components when damaged.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and fleet maintenance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures.
  • Work independently and efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Experience with commercial vehicles, coaches, buses, or large fleet vehicles preferred.
