We are looking for an Electrochemist to strengthen its coating inspection and materials/bolt failure analysis capability. Working alongside the inspection and testing team, you'll apply electrochemical test methods to assess corrosion behaviour, coating performance, and material degradation for clients in manufacturing, fabrication, and construction, turning lab and field data into clear, actionable findings for both technical teams and board-level stakeholders.
● Degree in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Corrosion Engineering, or a
related discipline
● Demonstrated experience with electrochemical testing techniques (e.g. EIS,
potentiodynamic/potentiostatic polarisation, corrosion rate measurement)
● Solid understanding of corrosion mechanisms, protective coatings, and materials
degradation in industrial environments
● Ability to interpret test data and write clear, client-facing technical reports
● Comfortable working both independently in a lab/field setting and as part of a
multidisciplinary inspection team
● Full right to work in Ireland (or eligibility to obtain it)
