Role -
We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our client's skilled manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that values quality craftsmanship, innovation, and employee development.
As a MIG Welder, you will weld mild steel components to precise specifications as part of manufacturing high-quality agricultural equipment in a supportive team environment with opportunities for training and career progression.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG/MAG welding on metal fabrication projects to high standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently 
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required specifications 
  • Maintain welding equipment and work areas in good condition 
  • Follow all health and safety procedures 
  • Work collaboratively to meet production targets 
  • Identify and report defects, issues, or safety concerns promptly
 
Essential Requirements
  • Experience & Qualifications: 
  • Proven experience as a MIG/MAG Welder in manufacturing or engineering 
  • Strong MIG welding skills producing high-quality welds 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Personal Attributes: 
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality 
  • Reliable, punctual, and good time management 
  • Safety-conscious approach 
  • Good teamwork and communication skills 
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 
Desirable Skills
  • Welding qualifications or certifications 
  • Experience in agricultural or steel fabrication industries 
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards
