They design and manufacture high-quality livestock housing and handling equipment for the dairy, beef and sheep sectors, and supply farmers nationally and internationally to ISO 9001:2015 standard.
They are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join their skilled manufacturing team, welding mild steel components to precise specifications in a supportive environment with opportunities for training and career progression.

About our client Our client is a long-established manufacturer of precast concrete products in the Midlands. It designs and manufactures a wide range of precast elements for large infrastructure and building projects, including bridge beams, culverts, wall panels, and marine and railway products. It also makes products for agricultural use. The role You will join our client's precast production team in the Midlands as a Precast Concrete Production Operative . Your work will be preparing moulds, helping to cast concrete products and getting finished units ready for storage or dispatch. You will work under a supervisor's direction and follow production plans, technical drawings and method statements. Experience in precast concrete is welcome but not essential. The role suits someone who is reliable, careful and willing to learn. You will operate equipment only after you have been trained and authorised to use it. What you will do Prepare moulds by cleaning and assembling them and applying release agents before each pour. Position reinforcement cages, cast-in components and fixings as the drawings and instructions require. Help to pour, vibrate, level and finish concrete, then strip completed products from the moulds once the required curing period has passed. Carry out minor repairs and finishing work, then mark, label and stack finished products for storage or dispatch. Operate production equipment, hand tools and lifting accessories once you are trained and authorised, and help to move materials and products with suitable handling equipment. Check tools, equipment and lifting accessories before use, and report defects, faults, shortages, hazards and incidents promptly. Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures, wear and look after the required personal protective equipment, and use correct manual handling and lifting methods. Keep work areas clean, organised and safe, take part in safety briefings, training and risk assessments, and stop work and report any unsafe condition or practice straight away. Work with colleagues to meet daily production targets, and take on other reasonable duties that fit the role.

It produces high-quality powder blends, capsules and tablets for its customers, and its team includes people with deep experience of the industry. The business is expanding and is taking on new Production Operatives to support that growth. The role This is a hands-on production role at our client's manufacturing site in County Mayo. You will run the equipment that blends powders, fills capsules and makes tablets, and you will weigh, fill, seal and label finished products. Routine quality checks and accurate production records are a core part of the job. You will work on a two-shift rotating cycle as part of a production team with shared targets. You do not need experience in this industry, because full training is provided. What you will do Operate powder blending, filling and packing equipment safely and to the set procedures Run capsule filling and tablet manufacturing machinery Prepare and blend powders to production specifications Weigh, fill, seal and label products correctly Carry out routine quality checks and keep production records complete and accurate Follow production, quality, hygiene and safety procedures at every stage of the process Clean and maintain equipment and keep your work area tidy Handle raw materials and finished products, including regular lifting of loads up to 25 kg Work with your colleagues to meet production targets on each shift Details Hours: 40 hours a week on a two-shift rotating cycle Location: County Mayo Start date: As soon as possible Training: Full training provided
