About This Role

Foresight are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and construction company based in Co. Cork for two experienced MIG/MAG Structural Steel Welders. The successful candidates will play a key role in the fabrication and site installation of steel structures, with a particular focus on agricultural and commercial shed installation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG/MAG welding of structural steel components to a high standard
  • Participate in the site installation of sheds and steel structures
  • Operate cutting and drilling equipment as part of general steel fabrication
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in MIG/MAG structural steel welding
  • Experience in site installation of agricultural or commercial sheds
  • Competence in operating cutting and drilling equipment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Full driving licence desirable
  • Ability to work outdoors and travel to sites as required
