Key Responsibilities: ● Place, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, plinths, bases, footpaths, kerbing, and reinstatement works. ● Produce high-quality concrete finishes using hand and power tools. ● Carry out screeding, floating, edging, and joint finishing. ● Assist with the preparation of formwork and reinforcement where required. ● Ensure correct curing methods are applied to achieve specified concrete strength and finish. ● Read and follow construction drawings and site specifications. ● Work closely with Site Supervisors, Engineers, and other members of the utility gang. ● Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area. ● Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and relevant Irish regulations.
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher on civil engineering or construction projects. ● Safe Pass.
● Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, and curing techniques. ● Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
● High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Flexibility to travel and work on projects throughout Ireland.
● Full clean driving licence is an advantage.
